Investment Activity for the week of September 9 2019

I was not investing in last two weeks because we were supposed to visit Florida for my mom's birthday and then planning to try Royal Caribbean cruise but Dorian came. We kept changing our airline tickets and our cruise became two days instead of 4. But since all these changes, Royal Caribbean gave us credit enough for another free cruise... :) Now we have to plan another cruise, although I still prefer Carnival cruises and we already have one planned for November. I actually was able to use my shareholder benefits and we will get $50 room credit just because I own 100 shares of Carnival stocks. Mister Market is doing pretty good. I like how my portfolio went up, but since I didn't invest all money I was planning to, I am still in search for more stocks to add to my portfolio. This week I only had one purchase. It was not new position.   Bought 29 shares of MO - add up to existing position It will add $97.6 to my yearly dividend income. I did not sell anything. How was your week...

August 2019 Dividends and Passive Income Progress. Reached my $1K goal!

Hello guys, I had a very active trading month. My new investments started to pay dividends as well. I reached my old goal of $1000. Since I sold my rental house I am setting a new goal of passive income $2000 per month. My total passive earnings for August was $1174.48, which includes $610.14 from dividends and 314.34 from interest, $200 one time bonus from etrade and $50 from discover. Here my dividends by stocks AAPL $10.17 ARR $8.50 BMO 22.13 BMY $10.84 GEL $37.25 GIS $23.78 HCP $35.04 KMI $19.48 NEA $5.97 NOK $3.32 OHI $71.11 O $9.48 PETS $44.55 PG $36.56 RY $15.87 SEMG $23.15 SIG $11.47 SKT $47.22 SPG $31.01 T $39.27 TD $22.35 VOD 35.05 VZ 17.14 WIN $1.83 IGT $27.60 Total $610.14 + $314.34 interest - I plan to reinvest some of money which earning this interest right now into more dividends stocks + $200 - one time bonus from etrade +$50 - one time reward from Discover (refer a friend) Total of $1,174.48!!! Investment Activity for the week of August 19 2019

This week I finished to invest all available money I had in etrade account and I began to use my promotions for free trades for Fidelity. Since I sold one of my rental properties and I am not sure if I want to buy another one (unless I find some awesome deal I really want to have, which I doubt), I am slowly reinvesting into dividends stocks. Right now when I am driving, I am listening to the audio book "The Warren Buffet Way: Investment Strategies of the World's Greatest Investor" by Robert Hagstrom and this book is very inspiring. It feel like a confirming message for me that I am on a right path. Even with all market ups and down, I feel really excited being able to add more positions to my portfolio. But next year I am planning to follow Phil Town's strategy on sales, when you buy and eventually sell, when you reach certain profit amount. Investment Activity for the week of August 12 2019

This was my last week of free trading through Etrade. I was busy with my house projects beginning of the week and missed some low price for some stocks days. I usually purchase my stocks Thursday/Friday but I start thinking to move my stock purchases to Monday/Tuesdays and then follow up other days. I totally forgot that on top of free trades for two months, I was supposed to receive $200 bonus from Etrade. So it was a pleasant surprise. :) I still have $6k left to invest in my Etrade account, so I will buy more stocks in next couple of weeks. Good thing that even my free trades are over, Etrade switched me to $4.95 per trade instead of $6.95. Each dollar counts, right? :) I start thinking that until the end of this year I might only buy stocks and sell some losers to offset some capital gains, because I will have a huge tax bill from the sale of my rental house. Investment Activity for the week of August 5 2019

I am still taking an advantage of my free trades with Etrade. This week I finally used my money sitting in my IRA account and some small leftovers in SEP IRA. It was very active trading week for me! Bought 20 shares of ABBV 36 shares of ADM 70 shares of CLDT 85 shares of HT 100 shares of PMD 49 shares of SEMG 25 shares of TOT 40 shares of TPR It will add $666 to my yearly dividend income.
